Ingredients
1 cup uncooked brown rice
¾ teaspoon salt
½ cup dried cranberries or raisins
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 ¼ cups water
3 cups fat free milk
2 cups peaches, diced
1 cup (4 ounces) slivered almonds
Directions
Combine rice, salt, cranberries and cinnamon with water 2- to 3-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 40 to 50 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Fluff with fork.
Top with milk, peaches, and almonds.
